Thank you for your inquiry on a hunt with North Alberta Outfitters Inc. I hope our website will give you a good idea of what we have to offer, and the area we hunt. However, not every client we take will have 100% satisfaction, but the long term repeat bookings are a good indication of a quality outfit. The pictures on this website will give you an idea of the trophies our area holds, and the tremendous potential it has!
The area you will be hunting in is the same area I was born and raised in, not like many Outfitters who live in other parts of the country. We live in the area we hunt. My wife Lisa, and myself, are full time outfitters; this is not a hobby, but a full time business. What you receive when you book a hunt with us is our full time attention, and dedication, to insure you get an opportunity at a trophy animal. We cannot control the weather or Murphy's law, what we can do is give you tremendous effort on our part to make your trip successful. This means hunting you in an area that holds quality trophy animals of the species you choose to hunt.
When you book a hunt with us, you are getting experience, dedication, and professionalism. We expect you to be successful, and enjoy yourself to the fullest. We believe in fair chase hunting, and you will experience the finest. Our crew consists of a team of guides, camp cooks, helpers, and my wonderful wife who keeps things running when I am in the bush. Our guides have worked with us for many years, and when we hire new ones, we seek references, and do a very thorough check. The guides are familiar with the hunting territory, and will only hunt you where there are trophy animals to be found. We only hunt areas that we would hunt ourselves.
The pictures in the brochure represent some of our larger animals, as I know you won't be interested in the smaller ones. We know all the Whitetails will not all go 200 B & C or the moose 55", but you will be hunting an area that does have them, and we will take some of these each and every year! Our Deer hunts are producing the finest trophies anywhere in the world. We are producing great quality Canadian Moose, as well as the best in trophy Black bears. Our area is so large that we cannot possibly hunt the whole thing. I can take you to a different place each day, for the whole season, and still not see even a fraction of it. This helps with managing our area for quality! Upon your arrival in camp, you will be greeted by my wife, along with our 4 children, TJ. Paige, Thomas, and Sutton and myself. We will make your stay as comfortable as possible and you will be treated like family. This is why we have the high repeat bookings
Camps and equipment are in excellent condition, and food is always in great demand, with lots of good home cooked meals. The kitchen is always open with lots of grub to eat.
Our deer hunts take place in North Central Alberta. We are hunting the best deer habitat in North America. The deer herd is very strong, and quality is 2nd to none. Hunting takes place from our home, or from a camp 45 minutes east of my home. Hunting is done either from stands, on foot, heated blinds, or from vehicles. The methods are all proven and produce. The area consists of boreal forests with log cuts, as well as agriculture areas. We have a mixed terrain. We hunt the month of November, when the rut is on; this is the best time to take the trophy of a lifetime!
We do our moose hunts in the boreal forests. Hunts are done in September and October, when lovesick bulls come to call. This hunt is very exciting and challenging. We hunt from wall tent camps, as well as cabin accommodations. Hunts are remote, fly in or take ATV's into the back country. We also have jet boats and an airboat to offer some different hunts. Our Moose hunts are very high success, and quality is excellent for Canada Moose. Space is limited, so book early to get the best spots.
Alberta is leading the way for quality Black bear hunting. Success is very high, 100% opportunity, and hunters can shoot 2 bears. Expect to see numerous bears, as well as have opportunity for color phase bears. Fishing can be combined with bear hunts, so come on up for the spring hunt of a lifetime. Great hunt for a father/son combo or for the bow hunter who wants the opportunity to take a record book Pope & Young. Hunting is done from baited stands, or spot and stalk. Great fun and the spring is a beautiful time of the year to hunt. Great area to hunt for 2 bears. Expect a very high success on good bears.
We offer both wolf and coyote hunts during the winter months. Success on coyotes is 100%, however wolves vary, but sightings are great. Come up for a winter experience and see what it is like to hunt wolves on snowmobiles, and experience the northern trapline. Great fun!

Come and experience what North America was founded upon. Go to a working trapline, and catch Marten, Wolves, Lynx, Fisher and Wolverine. Wolves may also be hunted at this time. These trips are done in the winter months. Well I imagine you are now tired of reading information, so now that you know about me, let me tell you what I expect from you.
I expect you to be in reasonable good physical condition, as well, if you have any medical requirements, we would like to know, so we can plan accordingly. We hope you can shoot reasonably well, and capitalize on the opportunity when it presents itself. Be reasonable with your expectations, and be courteous to the camp staff, as well as the other clients. Your success has a lot to do with you. Take the time to sight in your weapon and practice with it. Take some time and think of what you want in a hunt. Are you looking for a bargain, or are you looking for reputation in producing trophy animals? Do you want to hunt an area that is known for quality? There are lots of Outfitters, be cautious, be sure you know what you are getting. Sometimes the price of a cheap hunt reflects on the overall excursion.
