Our spring black bear hunts have a high success rates, 100% opportunity, and hunters can shoot 2 bears. Expect to see numerous bears, as well as have opportunity for colour phase bears. Fishing can be combined with bear hunts, so come on up for the spring bear hunt of a lifetime. This is a great hunt for a father/son combo or for the bow hunter who wants the opportunity to take a record book Pope & Young. Hunting is done from baited stands, or spot & stalk. Great fun and the spring is a beautiful time of the year to hunt in Northern Alberta.
Slave Lake is a great area for harvesting 2 bears. Our bear camp consists of wall tents with airtight stoves and a cook house.
The spring bear hunts in Alberta start in early May and run through mid June. Color phase bears are a good possibility depending on the time of year. Trophy bears in the area can exceed 500 pounds with many smaller bruins in the area. Hunters can expect a variety of hunting tactics, including spot & stalk or baited hunts, depending on the preference of the hunter, time of year and weather conditions.

We put more focus on spring black bear hunts but we can accommodate hunters looking for fall bear hunts. Usually fall bear hunts are an add on to a Alberta Moose hunt or Whitetail hunts.
